membership criteria

To be eligible for agency membership, organizations must:

  • Be recognized by the IRS as having current 501(c)3 tax exempt status or be in the process of getting it
  • Provide food directly to the needy, ill, or children in the form of meals or food boxes as an ongoing part of the program
  • Have regular hours and days of operation
  • Store FoodBank product at the site of distribution
  • Have proper storage space for the safekeeping of food products
  • Must not require any money, property or services from individuals in exchange for food
  • Provide services without regard to race, color, religion, age, handicap, sex or national origin
five easy steps

To become a member agency:

  1. Call 383-8843 and ask for Carmen Mollineaux to get an information package
  2. Complete a new member application
  3. Pass a site visit by the Member Services Manager
  4. Complete the Membership Agreement
  5. Attend an orientation session at the FoodBank
