To be eligible for agency membership, organizations must:
- Be recognized by the IRS as having current 501(c)3 tax exempt status or be in the process of getting it
- Provide food directly to the needy, ill, or children in the form of meals or food boxes as an ongoing part of the program
- Have regular hours and days of operation
- Store FoodBank product at the site of distribution
- Have proper storage space for the safekeeping of food products
- Must not require any money, property or services from individuals in exchange for food
- Provide services without regard to race, color, religion, age, handicap, sex or national origin

To become a member agency:
- Call 383-8843 and ask for Carmen Mollineaux to get an information package
- Complete a new member application
- Pass a site visit by the Member Services Manager
- Complete the Membership Agreement
- Attend an orientation session at the FoodBank
