Desiree McGhie, a Bloomfield resident and Certified Trainer (through NASM), decided to take two of her favorite things, exercise and volunteer/charity work, and form a team to take on the Pound for Pound Challenge.
Inspired by the NBC’s Biggest Loser, the Pound for Pound Challenge is a 12-week program that will promote exercise and a healthy lifestyle, while contributing to a good cause – The Community FoodBank of New Jersey.
Group classes will include weekly weigh-ins (just like the Biggest Loser show) and a variety of exercises that will help participants reach their fitness/health goals.
The class begins January 9th at SportsCare Physical Therapy (237 Franklin Avenue, Nutley) from 7-8pm. To signup, go to www.betterfly.com/desireemcghie.
