Once again the Community FoodBank of New Jersey will work with VITA volunteers to provide free tax filing assistance to low-and-moderate-income workers and help with applying for the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and the Child Tax Credit.
We will not be conducting tax preparation sessions at the FoodBank in 2012, however there are many locations offering the free service. Dates and exact addresses to come:
Cranford Community Center, Elizabeth Library, New Providence Senior Center, Plainfield Library, Plainfield Senior Center, Scotch Plains Library, Springfield Library, Summit SAGE.
